我们所居住的这片土地实际上位于印第安纳州迈阿密部落的威亚人祖先的原始家园. 威亚人是迈阿密-伊利诺伊人,最初位于印第安纳州西部,是较大的伊利诺伊联邦的一部分. We pay respect to the Miami Tribe (Delaware, Kickapoo, Miami, Mound Builders, Piankashaw, Potawatomi, Shawnee, and Wea), past, present, and future, and the Wea Peoples continuing presence in the homeland and throughout their historical diaspora. 这要求我们承诺继续学习如何更好地管理我们居住的土地.

这要求我们承诺继续学习如何更好地管理我们居住的土地. Without them, we would not have access to this gathering and to this dialogue. We take this opportunity to thank and honor the original caretakers of this land.

The Women's Resource Center (WRC) strives to empower, educate, and create a safe space for people of all gender identities and expressions.  WRC supports the inclusiveness of women across campus and within the community. The mission of the Women's Resource Center is to recognize the diverse accomplishments, promote the interests, and help meet the needs of women at Indiana State University.  This is accomplished by providing a forum for discussion, information dissemination, and programming that celebrates and promotes women and their allies.

WRC’s educational content addresses all issues of gender, relationship, and sexual diversity. Our programs comes from a place of intersectionality, understanding that issues of gender cannot be separated from other social identities, such as race, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, etc.

All programs are free and open to the public. For more information on Womens Resource Center (WRC) Graduate Assistant Breanna Pierce at bpierce7@sycamores.gemabangsa.com.
